Last week I was a lil busy bee. A lot of things aren't pictured but that's because I keep most of my pictures for my personal viewing. And because not everyone wants to have their pictures all over the internet on some blog and I respect that. So here's what I've been up to:
Monday was the only day I wasn't running around town. Monday was also the start of a very hot week! No bueno. It was that miserable I-just-wanna-eat-ice-cream-and-sleep-all-day heat. Does anyone else feel like the heat just sucks all the energy out of them? Just me? Okay.

Monday was the only day I wasn't running around town. Monday was also the start of a very hot week! No bueno. It was that miserable I-just-wanna-eat-ice-cream-and-sleep-all-day heat. Does anyone else feel like the heat just sucks all the energy out of them? Just me? Okay.
Tuesday was fish taco Tuesday lol.Sort of our house tradition.
Wednesday we BOTH broke our sunglasses and wanted to replace them. So we decided to make a day out of it. we ended the day at her BFF's house. We talked, had tea (that I still need her recipe for), and talked some more before making our way home for the day.
Thursday I was sewing pretty much all day on a few things you'll see in a post later this week...
Friday was a deeeeeep cleaning day! As usual, I clean my house from top to bottom Cinderella style. "Cleanliness is next to Godliness." "A clean home is a clean mind."
Saturday was a beautiful wedding for a family friend. My cousin TJ picked us up and we headed out. When I came home I only had a second to change out of my heels into some flats for my sisters boxing watch party. Did you watch the Mayweather vs Guerrero fight?! Personally, I was expecting a K.O., we all were, but nope. How anti-climactic! I swear my sister changes her decor every time I visit! Her party was a *fiesta* theme and the food was gee-double-oh-dee GOOD! And the cakes people brought was so yummy I had to make myself a sampler plate! Ha ha!
Sunday I ended up sleeping almost 12 hours, in the daytime. I guess staying up so late the last couple of weeks is finally catching up with me! Time to get back on track.
