Oh to be a kid again - Sunday Social!

1. What do you miss most about being a kid?
The fact that everything was like one big game! The world seems like one big amusement park full of happy when you're a kid. Literally everything is amazing.

2. Did you have a nickname growing up? What was it?
Bubbles- I was obsessed with "The Cheeteah Girls" and my BFF and I pretty much pretended to be the characters, like all the time. So she was Chu-chi and I was Bubbles.
Bunny- Because it was the easiest way for people to remember my name. Ebone (eh-bunny) Bunny. Get it?
Nina- I still don't know why I was given this one. Don't all parents just make up a random nickname for their kids? Anyway, my dad calls me Nina 90% of the time since I was a wee one.
Whitney- Most of my teachers, for unknown reasons, have called me by my last name. It stuck all the way through the end of high school. Literally no one ever calls me Whitney though, oddly it was just teachers/staff.
Perfect- okay just kidding.

3. What was your favorite thing to do at recess?
Double-dutch, hand games, lava-tag and freeze-tag. Just running around in general.

4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
EVERYTHING! Ballerina, Disney princess, warrior ninja, movie star, singer, model, one time I thought I wanted to be cartoon. Unfortunately that is physically impossible.

5. Did you participate in any school activities?
Oh goodness, I tried! I tried just about every sport I could. I found out quickly that I'm just not made to do anything athletic. Field trips and clubs though, I'm in!

6. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still remind you about?
I would do silly dances all the time. Sing off-key on purpose. Look up funny/silly jokes and stories to recite at dinner time. I was ridiculously dramatic with everything I did. If I fell down, even if it didn't even hurt I'd go and pull a 'Peter Griffin.' C'mon you know what I'm talkin bout. I did just about anything I could for  laughs. Lol and still do!

  2. Ha, your gif reminded me of the time that I signed up for the basketball team and went to the first practice and was thrown the ball...let's just say that phase was over quickly. New follower.

  3. Stopping over from Sunday Social :) Love the gifs! I also was obsessed with the Cheetah Girls but I think I was like in high school so it wasn't cool to be so it was a secret obsession.

    1. GIFs brought to you by Tumblr :)
Aw, in the words of Kevin G from Mean Girls "don't let the haters stop you from doin yo thang"

  4. New follower from Sunday Social? Who didn't want to be a Disney princess? And it's a great tragedy that more of us never got to be princesses.

    1. WOOHOOOOO!!! *happy dance*
I know right? I'm still mourning the death of that dream.

  5. My friends at work call me Bubbles, but they got it from the Power Puff Girls. New follower from the Sunday Social. If you get a chance, stop on over and say hi!

    1. Oooh the Power Puff Girls! I forgot all about that cartoon, did you have a favorite besides Bubbles? Mojojojo was mine;) And I'd be more than happy to!!!

  6. You had more nicknames than anyone I visited today. Wow, how did you know what to answer to? I totally love your career goals.

    1. LOL! Honestly I'm so used to having a different name everyday. I learned to just look around and see whether someone seems to be making eye contact with me or not. That's how I know hahaha! But we all have those certain people that we only let THEM call us by, y'know?

You get used to it hehehe ;)
&thank you! I was pretty ambitious as a kid.

    2. BY THE WAY!!! Sophia is a beautiful name. I've always wanted to name my first daughter Sophia!
